Given that the condition of wood can vary greatly from one rifle to the next, the pricing below may be subject to change based on the condition of your wood furniture. All wood refinishing services include removal of the original finish, sanding, application of new finish, and sealer.
As firearms age, they develop rust, especially older firearms. If left untreated, rust can cause pitting on metal surfaces, which not only ruin the aesthetics, but can also affect the safe and reliable function of your pistol, rifle, or shotgun.
This method is typically preferred by people who simply want to inhibit further rust but do not want to take away from the original appearance of the metal surfaces. Upon completion of cleaning the metal, we apply a coating of oil to prevent reoccurrence. Please note: This does not make a firearm like-new, it's simply a preventative measure
For those who want a full-up restoration, blasting receivers and parts inside of a blast cabinet is the preferred solution. Not only does this method remove surface rust, but it will also smooth out and/or remove cosmetic blemishes in the metal caused by untreated rust.
In order to adequately remove rust from all parts, the firearm will need to be disassembled and reassembled. Many times, this can be a frustrating task since bolts and screws can become rusted-in-place. This is generally a time consuming task on older firearms.

We divide restoration into two categories: Functioning and Non-Functioning firearms. The reason for this distinction is that non-functioning firearms require examination of parts to determine not only which part is causing the firearm to not operate, but also to determine which parts are worn and may need replaced.
