The lower receiver consists of 32 parts. The most common problems that arise when assembling a lower is losing the small detent pints or springs and scratching or damaging the receiver when installing the roll pins.
The most common problem that people encounter when replacing their grip is losing either the detent, detent spring, or both. The absence of either one or both of these parts will render a rifle unusable. This service is free with an existing order.

The installation of binary triggers, specifically Franklin Armory brand can be somewhat difficult. Many customers who have attempted this on their own have damaged the disconnector spring in the process. Damage to this spring will not allow binary mode to be activated.
Consists of the installation of 28 parts found in a lower parts kit, in addition to the 4 parts that make up the buffer tube assembly.
The upper receiver is comprised of 16 parts, and while there are less parts on an upper than there are on a lower, the upper is generally viewed as a more daunting task due to the need for proper torque of the barrel nut and proper alignment of the gas block system. Should either of these systems or their components be installed incorrectly, your rifle could fail when you need it most.
*Note: When ordering muzzle devices, whether they be flash hiders, compensators, or muzzle brakes, be sure that you're ordering the correct thread pattern, also referred to as Threads Per Inch (TPI). For .223/5.56 caliber use 1/2-28 TPI, and for .308/7.62x51 use 5/8-24 TPI.
*Recommended part: Knights Armament Co. RAS M4

The National Firearms Act requires a rifle barrel be no less than 16" in length, however, a 14.5" barrel may be used if the muzzle device measures a minimum of 1.5" and is permanently attached. The benefit is that the overall length of your rifle is reduced by 1.5", therefore making it easier to maneuver in narrow spaces.
